We are looking to hire a skilled maintenance engineer to install and maintain industrial equipment for our clients specializing in compressors. As a maintenance engineer, you will be required to install new equipment, conduct routine maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment faults on site. You may also be required to remove old equipment and train staff on equipment operating procedures.
To ensure success as a maintenance engineer, you should have extensive knowledge of industrial equipment, the ability to work well under pressure and demonstrate high-level problem-solving skills. An outstanding maintenance engineer should be able to service, troubleshoot, and repair equipment without causing extended equipment downtime.
Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:
Travelling to client locations for equipment inspection Compressors, Pumps etc.
Inspecting equipment and conducting routine maintenance.
Servicing and replacing old or faulty equipment.
Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.
Removing old equipment and installing new machines.
Proving technical support and training on new equipment.
Responding to customer call-outs.
Adhering to all safety and performance regulations.
Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
Proven work experience as a maintenance engineer.
Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and heating systems.
Ability to read system schematics.
Advanced troubleshooting skills.
Understanding of safety and equipment procedures.
Good communication and training skills.
Ability to work with heavy equipment.Providing exceptional service to our customer base by identifying and applying the best solutions
Supporting colleagues in the back office with technical information through detailed written reports
To promptly carry out servicing and maintenance on customer compressed air equipment of all types, including competitor’s equipment
To effectively diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on customer compressed air equipment,
To carry out the install and commissioning of new equipment
To have the ability to carry out installation work when required
To train customers and Atlas Copco personnel as required, in the general operations of their compressed air equipment
To identify spare parts for service orders, in the course of daily duties
To be aware of, and apply, Health and Safety regulations at all times on customers site
To always apply good standards of engineering practice when carrying out all aspects of service work and installation projects
To maintain all personnel test instruments, to ensure they remain in good condition at all times
To effectively promote the Atlas Copco Compressors company image
To perform additional related duties as required
