Our growing company has an opening for a full-time and a part-time, entry-level Marketing Officer that will allow this person the luxury of working from both home and office. We are looking for a person at the beginning of his/her career who is willing to learn rapidly to ultimately make our team even better.
This person will be responsible for planning and overseeing the organization’s marketing activities and campaigns. You will be the one to ensure that all marketing operations are successful in meeting the goals set by management. In this position, you will use a multitude of platforms to convert ads and promotions into increased revenue for our company. You will seek to increase build brand awareness through both traditional and new media campaigns.
Marketing Officer Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the implementation of marketing strategies
- Support the marketing manager in overseeing the department’s operations
- Plan advertising and promotional campaigns for products or services on a variety of media (social, print etc.)
- Liaise with stakeholders and vendors to promote success of activities and enhance the company’s presence
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth
- Collaborate with managers in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses
- Attend educational conferences and offered training in Marketing
- Engages in superior customer service by making information readily available
- Demonstrates products and services as deemed necessary by clients and management
- Schedules appointments and meetings as necessary
- Answers questions from clients
- Makes products and services knowledge readily available to self and other sales people through various resources
- Finds ways to sell products and services in the face of a down market
- Researches client base to find new types of customers and sells to them accordingly
- Creates a plan for gaining customers and then retaining them based on warranties or guarantees
- Analyzes and creates a plan for engaging the target market
- Analyzes the competition to create a plan for engagement
- Makes product appeal to the target market
- Trains other salespeople in the art of selling
- Makes sure that all salespeople meet quota during a given period
- Sets up booths at trade shows and demonstrates the quality or uses of a product
- Demonstrates superior time management skills and meets sales deadlines
