EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years working experience as a Lift Technician, mechanical or similar technical degree or certification from a certified mechanical school is preferred
REQUIREMENTS
• Must have a professional demeanor and appearance
• Must be able to read and interpret technical blueprints
• Must have the physical ability to remain standing for the majority of your shift
• Willingness to work flexible hours based on our clients’ needs
• Ability to travel and work after hours when required.

Description
Our client, a premier home manufacturer is seeking to hire a highly skilled and experienced LIFT TECHNICIAN to assist with the company's operations.
ROLE PROFILE
The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, modernizing, repairing, or servicing conveyances. He or she will also work closely with the maintenance team and other stakeholders to provide high-quality service and support.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install new lift systems, including elevators, escalators, and moving walkways.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Assemble and connect electrical wiring, control panels, and mechanical components.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on lift systems to ensure proper functioning.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks such as lubrication, adjustments, and replacements of parts.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues to prevent potential failures and ensure reliability.
- Diagnose and repair faults in lift systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform repairs promptly to minimize downtime.
- Replace defective parts, wiring, and control systems to restore lift operations.
- Ensure all lift systems comply with safety standards and regulations.
- Conduct safety tests and checks as required by local laws and industry standards.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs for regulatory compliance.
- Interact with customers and clients to understand their needs and provide technical support.
- Educate customers on the proper use and care of lift systems.
- Provide clear and detailed reports on maintenance and repair activities.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and advancements in lift systems.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Contribute to the improvement of maintenance procedures and protocols.
