The Operations Officer will play a key role in overseeing the daily activities of the microfinance institution to ensure efficient service delivery, compliance with policies, and achievement of operational targets. This role involves coordinating branch operations, supporting loan processes, monitoring transactions, and ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle data entry into financial systems.


• Prepare and compile various reports financial summaries and operational data.


• Assist with customer account reconciliations and other financial data checks.


• Support the management in compliance with internal policies and procedures.


• Provide essential support to the operations team.


• Help maintain and update operational and client databases.


• Respond to inquiries, resolve issues and manage relationships with clients.


• Market products, identify and recruit prospective clients.


• Assist credit team to manage the loan portfolio.
