Required Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Social Work, or related field, with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in Child Protection programmes.
A certificate in Project Management is an added advantage.
Computer literacy in MS Word and Excel.
Ability to analyze information, evaluate options and to think and plan strategically
Strong interpersonal, organizational, team building, presentation, partnering and representational skills.
Excellent oral and written communication.
Refined and well-organized multi-tasking skills
Computer literacy in MS Office Suite.
A highly motivated individual with a strong customer service orientation.
Commitment to and understanding of INGH’s mission, values and vision.

Description
Unit:
Child Rights
Purpose:
To implement INGH’s Child Protection programmes.
Report to:
Head of Programmes – Child Rights.
Key Responsibilities
A. Programme Planning And Implementation
- Continuously review programme documents to determine activities/tasks required to operationalise the Child Protection programmes in accordance with set time frames and outcome targets.
- Appraise the status of the implementation of Child Protection programme activities and highlight major achievements, constraints and strategies for continuation of the programme for management consideration.
- Periodically review resource requirements of Child Protection programmes and coordinate the procurement and delivery of relevant inputs to ensure continuity in programme implementation.
- Prepare quarterly and annual progress reports on the implementation of Child Protection programmes.
- Participate in the review of all documents sent by the Head Of Programmes in a timely and professional manner and provide recommendations to the relevant bodies.
- Adhere to the INGH child protection policy.
B. Monitoring And Evaluation
- Collect and systematically document relevant data to ensure the timely and accurate assessment of project progress and impact
- Generate human interest stories from projects interventions.
C. Staff Development
- Participate in staff development and resource sharing programmes.
NB: A clean police criminal report on Child Abuse; Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment will be required.
