A company requires the services of a Sales Admin who will be responsible for the efficient
handling of bidding for contracts, help to improve the productivity of sales
Advisors by ensuring that business planning for the sales department are
formulated and implemented in line with strategy and contribute to the overall
achievement of APO.
Responsibilities
Develop standard Sales templates for managing the bid process,
creating bid documents based on benchmark best-in-class examples.
- Agree bid/no-bid and bid sign-off procedures with the sales governance
teams.
2. Apply standard templates on a consistent basis to maintain quality and
reduce transactional costs while paying close attention to detail.
3. Fully understand and lead the requirements for each bid by analysing
relevant requests for proposal (RFP), tender documents etc.
4. Work with account partners and sales engineers to develop appropriate
propositions.
5. Ensure each bid complies with internal governance and is fully compliant
with customer specifications.
6. Ensure that final bid documents are delivered to customers in
compliance with RFP etc.
7. Provide performance data to support sales management decision-
making.
8. Provide support for sales advisors when they are away from the office by
taking calls or e-mails from customers and alert them to any urgent issues.
