Description
A reputable Construction and Engineering Company is seeking a qualified and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join its operations team.
Job Summary
The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all maintenance activities to ensure that machinery, equipment, facilities, and vehicles are kept in safe and efficient working condition to support construction and engineering operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all mechanical, electrical, maintenance activities
- Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules
- Ensure equipment and machinery are properly maintained and available for use
- Monitor breakdowns and ensure timely repairs
- Manage maintenance technicians and assign daily work
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
- Control spare parts usage and ensure availability of critical items
Safety and Compliance
- Ensure strict adherence to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety programs, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and enforce the proper use and timely replacement of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for all site artisans.
Maintenance Coordination and Support
- Assist in meeting maintenance KPIs by ensuring timely availability of tools, spares, and service parts.
- Supervise loading and dispatch of parts to various sites, confirming material compatibility and stock count prior to dispatch.
- Follow up on all pending Parts Requests (PRs) with the Stores Department.
Equipment and Inventory Management
- Maintain and update daily equipment registry for all site machinery and tools.
- Assess and report defective equipment to be sent to the yard for repairs or retirement.
- Allocate critical spares in collaboration with storekeepers and communicate requirements promptly.
Site Administration and Reporting
- Prepare and submit monthly reports on all site equipment performance and status.
- Track and report all site expenditures including petty cash disbursements and Payment Voucher (PV) requisitions.
- Maintain updated records of artisan attendance and site-related documentation.
Interdepartmental Coordination
- Liaise with the Stores and Accounts Departments to ensure timely parts delivery and proper invoicing.
- Support the Maintenance Manager in implementing preventive and correct
