Job Description: Animator

Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and creative Animator to join our dynamic team. As an Animator, you will be responsible for bringing characters, scenes, and objects to life through captivating and visually appealing animations. Your expertise will contribute to the overall artistic vision of our projects, enhancing their impact and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality, fluid, and expressive 2D or 3D animations that align with the project's artistic direction and narrative.


• Collaborate closely with the art and design teams to understand the creative vision and translate it into compelling animations.


• Develop character movements, facial expressions, and body mechanics that convey emotion, personality, and authenticity.


• Work with technical teams to integrate animations seamlessly into the game, film, or other interactive media projects.


• Iterate and refine animations based on feedback from peers, leads, and stakeholders, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality.


• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques, incorporating new tools and methods to enhance animation workflows.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Animation, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).


• Proven experience as an Animator with an impressive portfolio showcasing a range of animation styles and techniques.


• Proficiency in industry-standard animation software such as Maya, Blender, Adobe Animate, or equivalent.


• Strong understanding of animation principles, including timing, weight, anticipation, and squash and stretch.


• Excellent artistic and observational skills, with an eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through animation.


• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.


• Problem-solving abilities to address technical challenges and optimize animations for various platforms.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Experience in 3D modeling, rigging, and skinning.


• Familiarity with motion capture technology and pipelines.


• Knowledge of scripting languages for automation and efficiency.


• Background in traditional arts, such as drawing or sculpting.
