Minimum of 5 years experience in supervising the operations of a parts department.
Manufacturer or recognized qualification in store and parts management.
An understanding of accounting, stock systems and procedures.
Computer literate.
Good interpersonal and communication skills

Description
- Monitor and maintain margins and profitability of all parts sold through the retail and workshop counters. Alert the After Sales Commercial Manager of unusual cases.
- Propose and implement marketing strategy in conjunction with the After-Sales Commercial Manager and National Service Manager to increase parts sales.
- Meet regularly with the Supply Chain, After-Sales Commercial and National Service Manager(s) to assess and resolve parts related issues.
- Monitor the arrival of items and contact customers as soon as possible – refer to the information coming from the Supply Chain Department.
- Handle customer parts queries and complaints with the resources within the Equipment parts department in a timely and efficient manner
- Implement and maintain the CFAO Group operational practices as defined by management and company policy.
- Ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of the Equipment Parts Department in Tema.
- Ensure the correct and efficient use of all communication equipment and manufactures information by all parts department staff.
- Ensure that all parts related literature and information are updated, accurate and distributed to parts department staff.
- Complete and submit reports and analysis to management, manufactures and suppliers in an accurate and timeouts manner
- Communicate to the Supply Chain department on urgent orders daily
- Ensure all Equipment Spare Parts team behaves in a professional manner and communicates effectively and efficiently with customers and workshop staff.
- Utilize the available accounting to monitor and control all sales transactions on a daily basis
- Prepare and carry out daily stock taking as requested by management and company policy.
- Recommend improvements in facilities, equipment and procedures within the parts department.
- Assess and recommend staff departmental training needs and requirements.
- Ensure that departmental staff are assessed and reviewed periodically
- Promote and maintain a safe and clean working environment within the parts department
- Ensure that purchased parts are issued on the job correctly
- Ensure that all staff within the department adheres to company policies and procedures at all times.
