The purpose of this role is to provide support to the Accounts Department by using the Accounting Software (Tally) and Excel to track and reconcile a whole range of financial transactions, and ne responsible for data entry and maintaining ledger, ensuring payments and receivables are current among other things.
Responsibilities will include
- Using book keeping database software (Tally) and spread sheets
- Posting financial transactions in Tally Software
- Receiving and recording voucher, cash and cheques
- Providing a variety of reports
- Checking for accuracy in reports, figures and postings
- Reconciling and reporting discrepancies in records, etc.
