Description
Objective: To be responsible for judicious and cost-effective management of Clinic supplies and inventory, by planning, monitoring, requisitioning and dispensing needed supplies according to Clinic protocols.

PRIMARY DUTIES
Stocking
- Receive incoming stock by checking against Clinic requisitions and supplier invoices
- Inspect incoming stock for damage, expiration or discrepancies; report any discrepancies for reimbursements and record keeping
- Record incoming stock into appropriate store, including cost and quantity
- Shelve and organize supplies systematically
- Undertake regular stock count of inventory, equipment and supplies in stock as needed; report discrepancies between physical counts and computer records
- Distribute inventory, equipment and supplies according to approved requisitions
- Be responsible for ensuring adequate stock levels; anticipate and update lists of stock needed.
- Any other clerical duties as may be directed by Finance Manager or Operations Manager
Recordkeeping
- Maintain accurate records of all purchases, transfers and requisitions to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control; maintain accurate records of prices and costs of stock
- Maintain strict confidentiality in handling of patient and Clinic records and information
- Maintain knowledge of inventory, including usage, pricing and other relevant details
- Be proactive in problem-solving, and developing or improving upon inventory management procedures
Maintenance
- Report malfunctioning equipment and fittings within Clinic stores
- Ensure that Clinic stores are safe and hazard-free; report needed electrical or other repairs immediately to ensure the preservation of stock
- Be responsible for maintaining clean, dust-free and appealing store spaces and personal work area
