Job Requirement • Must have a diploma/ HND/ degree in catering or related field with proven experience as a cook at least for 3 years. • Experienced in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware. • Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc). • Ability to follow all sanitation procedures of the Hotel. • Ability to work in a team • Have good communication skills • Excellent physical condition and stamina
Prepare delicious meals for our guest according to menu. The job is also to ensure that food is prepared under hygienic condition and keep equipment and kitchen clean.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Prepare delicious meals for our guests.
- Set up workstation with all ingredients and cooking equipment.
- Prepare ingredients in cooking including (cutting meat, peeling vegetables etc).
- Check food and vegetables for freshness.
- Ensure workstation, equipment and utensils are clean.
- Arrange and garnish dishes.
- Ensure food and other ingredients are stored well.
- Monitor stock and place order when they are in shortage.
