• A minimum of a master’s degree from an accredited tertiary institution in Planning / Monitoring and Evaluation / Railway / Civil / Mechanical / Electrical and Signaling & Telecommunications Engineering, Statistical and Social Sciences or other relevant equivalent disciplines.
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited tertiary institution in Planning or other relevant equivalent disciplines.
• Membership of the Ghana Institution of engineering or equivalent professional body will be an added advantage.
• Must have completed National Service.
• A minimum of one (1) year post bachelor’s degree relevant work experience in a reputable organization.
• Must pass a selection interview conducted by the Authority in collaboration with the Public Services Commission.

Description
Job Purpose
To provide operational support for the efficient and effective performance of the Policy, Planning, Research, Monitoring & Evaluation functions of the Authority.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervises the collection of data for the formulation of policies, strategies, regulations and standards for the Directorate.
- Monitors the programmes and activities of the Directorate.
- Facilitates in the collection of data for the review of the Railway Master Plan in line with set standards and in alignment with the National Infrastructure Plan.
- Collects data for the preparation of proposals in order to ensure that cost effectiveness in the design of railway development projects is achieved.
- Adheres to health and safety standards in the performance of PPRME activities.
