In a bid to make production and processing methods more efficient, greater awareness and enforcement of food safety regulations expands inspection requirements, increasing the need to improve the quality of food products.
It is in line with this, that we are hiring a QUALITY ASSURANCE OFFICER (LABORATORY & STANDARDS) for our Quality & Quantity services to ensure compliance with standards and regulations regarding factors such as colour, texture, or nutrients.
The ideal candidate will be performing standardized qualitative and quantitative tests to determine physical or chemical properties of food products, as well as measuring and analyzing the quality of food, additives/ preservatives and agricultural products. You will test the quality of materials of finished products, monitor and control temperature of products as well.
Great attention is required for recordkeeping duties. You will compile test results and prepare graphs, charts and reports in these forms, and maintain records of testing results and other documents as required by policy and law. You will conduct tests to ensure that right specifications are met with specific characteristics.
You will compute moisture or salt content, percentages of ingredients, formulas, or other products factors using mathematical and chemical procedures, and analyze chemical compounds/substances. You will perform regular maintenance on laboratory equipment by inspecting, calibrating, cleaning or sterilizing.
You will provide assistance in research and development, production technology, or quality control to improve food products.
