Supervise Staff: Manage and coordinate waiters, cooks, cashiers, cleaners, and other restaurant staff. Daily Operations: Ensure the restaurant operates smoothly and efficiently throughout each shift. Customer Service: Ensure customers receive friendly, professional, and timely service and handle complaints appropriately. Staff Scheduling: Prepare work schedules, assign duties, and monitor staff attendance and punctuality. Food Quality & Safety: Ensure food is prepared, stored, and served according to hygiene and food-safety standards. Inventory Management: Monitor food, beverages, and other supplies and report shortages or wastage. Cash Handling: Supervise cashiers and ensure that payments, receipts, and daily sales records are properly managed. Cleanliness: Ensure the dining area, kitchen, washrooms, and other facilities are clean and well maintained. Stock Control: Check deliveries, verify quantities, and ensure supplies are properly stored. Staff Training: Train and guide new and existing employees on restaurant procedures and customer-service standards. Performance Monitoring: Evaluate staff performance and address issues such as lateness, poor service, or misconduct. Reporting: Prepare daily or periodic reports on sales, staffing, inventory, customer complaints, and operational issues. Problem Solving: Resolve operational challenges quickly and escalate serious issues to management. Compliance: Ensure the restaurant follows company policies, health regulations, safety procedures, and licensing requirements. Support Management: Work closely with the restaurant manager or owner to improve sales, customer satisfaction, and overall profitability.
