The Sales Officer is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new sales opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and promoting the company’s products and services. The role combines direct sales activities with strategic outreach to meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, prospect, and close sales opportunities across assigned markets or territories.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Conduct product presentations, client meetings, and negotiations to achieve deal closure.
Maintain a solid understanding of company products/services and market positioning.
Prepare and deliver accurate sales reports, forecasts, and activity logs.
Follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns, trade shows, referrals, and cold calls.
Collaborate with the marketing team to align promotional strategies with sales objectives.
Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
Assist in developing pricing strategies and sales pitches tailored to customer needs.
Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets within agreed deadlines.
