EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or any related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Marketing.
• Proven experience in FMCG as Sales & Marketing Officer.
• Knowledge in accounting is an advantage.

Description
Our client, an import and export company, is seeking to recruit a highly experienced, strategic, and results-driven individual for the position of SALES AND MARKETING OFFICER to lead and support the institution’s business growth and brand visibility efforts.
ROLE PROFILE
The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads to achieve sales targets and negotiating contracts with potential clients. The role also requires a strong focus on product demonstrations to drive business opportunities. He /she will also undertake the following tasks:
DUTIES /RESPONSIBILITIES
- Present, promote, and sell products and services using strong arguments to existing and prospective customers.
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analyses of customers to ensure their requirements are met.
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Promote company programs effectively.
- Resolve customer problems and complaints promptly to maximize satisfaction.
- Achieve agreed sales targets and outcomes within set timelines.
- Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.
- Analyse territory and market potential, and track sales and status reports.
- Provide the Head of Department/Manager with reports on customer needs, issues, interests, competitive activities, and opportunities for new products.
- Stay updated on best practices and promotional trends.
- Improve performance continuously through feedback.
- Obtain deposits and balance payments from clients.
- Maintain accurate client records.
- Generate quality leads to expand the customer base.
- Prepare and submit sales contracts for orders
