Job Purpose
The Dealership Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales growth through the company's dealership network within the Ashanti Region and surrounding territories. The role focuses on recruiting new dealers, strengthening relationships with existing dealers, increasing product availability, achieving sales targets, and ensuring dealers receive the support required to grow their businesses and enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Dealership Development
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new dealers in line with the company's market expansion strategy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing dealerships to maximize sales performance.
- Develop dealer business plans and support dealers in achieving agreed sales targets.
- Conduct regular dealer visits to assess performance, identify opportunities, and provide business support.
Sales & Business Growth
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
- Drive product penetration and market share growth through the dealership network.
- Promote new products, sales campaigns, and promotional activities to dealers.
- Monitor dealer stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment to avoid stock shortages.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling across the product portfolio.
Dealer Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned dealers.
- Resolve dealer concerns and escalate issues where necessary to ensure prompt resolution.
- Conduct regular business reviews with dealers to evaluate performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Ensure high levels of dealer satisfaction through excellent service delivery.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, product offerings, and market trends.
- Identify new market opportunities and recommend strategies to increase sales.
- Collect customer and dealer feedback to support product and service improvements.
Sales Administration
- Prepare quotations, sales forecasts, and periodic sales reports.
- Maintain accurate records of dealer accounts, sales activities, and customer interactions.
- Ensure all sales documentation complies with company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with Production, Logistics, Finance, and Customer Service to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Collections & Credit Management
- Monitor dealer credit limits and outstanding balances.
- Follow up on overdue payments to ensure timely collections.
- Ensure compliance with the company's credit control policies.
Compliance
- Ensure all dealership activities comply with company policies and ethical standards.
- Safeguard confidential company and customer information.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Monthly sales revenue achieved
- Sales volume by territory
- Number of new dealers recruited
- Dealer retention rate
- Dealer sales growth
- Market share within the assigned territory
- Product availability across dealerships
- Number of dealer visits conducted

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
- Professional sales certification is an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum of 2–4 years experience in dealership sales, channel sales, territory sales, or distribution management.
- Experience within manufacturing, construction materials, plastics, industrial products, or FMCG is an advantage.
- Proven ability to grow dealer networks and consistently achieve sales targets.
