KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Business Development
Develop and implement strategic sales and business development plans to achieve
revenue and profitability targets.
Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities within the construction
and infrastructure sectors.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients through networking,
referrals, partnerships, and market intelligence.
Lead negotiations, prepare commercial proposals, and close sales agreements with
clients.
Develop pricing and commercial strategies that enhance competitiveness while
maximizing profitability.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Manage the customer journey from initial engagement through project completion
and after-sales support.
Ensure excellent customer service and timely resolution of customer concerns or
issues.
Conduct regular customer engagement activities to strengthen relationships and
encourage repeat business opportunities.
Market Analysis & Product Positioning
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends,
customer demands, and business opportunities.
Provide strategic recommendations on pricing, product positioning, and market
expansion initiatives.
Maintain strong knowledge of the company’s products, industry standards, and
market applications.
Support the development of product packaging and commercial strategies to
improve market competitiveness.
Commercial Operations & Project Coordination
Oversee the commercial execution of projects from order confirmation to delivery
completion.
Coordinate with production, logistics, and operations teams to ensure timely
product delivery and customer satisfaction.
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and operational efficiency to ensure smooth
execution.
Ensure proper documentation, contract management, and compliance with
company procedures and standards.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Track and analyze sales performance, revenue growth, customer acquisition, and
market penetration metrics.
Prepare periodic sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and commercial performance
reports for senior management.
Analyze business data to identify opportunities for operational improvement and
revenue optimization.
Develop and implement action plans to improve sales productivity and overall
business performance.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Engineering,
Construction Management, or a related field.
Master’s degree or professional certification in Sales, Marketing, or Business
Management is an added advantage.
Minimum of 5–8 years’ experience in a commercial, sales, or business
development role, preferably within manufacturing, construction, building
materials, or related industries.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Strong understanding of commercial strategy, market analysis, and customer
relationship management.
Experience managing large client accounts and commercial projects.
Strong financial and business acumen with the ability to interpret commercial data
and market trends.
