Customer service or cashier experience. Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly. Basic math and computer skills.
- Receiving and handling all cash payments, making change and issuing out receipts to customers on daily basis
- Sorting, counting verifying and preparing currency and coins for safe keeping
- Preparing money for deposit at the bank on daily basis.
- Liaising with the bank and delivering deposits to the Van pick up daily
- Preparing daily report of transactions processed and monies collected balancing/reconciling cash received with amounts recorded, IOUs and their supporting documents.
- Rendering of account for money received at the end of each day
- Maintaining proper security of cash at all times and check for counterfeit currency
- Following cash handling policies and procedures of the company to ensure efficiency and safely.
