The GSE All-Share Index, the benchmark measure of
performance of the Accra Bourse, sustained its gains on Friday, rising 86.05 points to close at 6,616.20 points from 6,530.15 points.
Shares that changed hands closed the session four times lower at 405,409 shares valued at GH�282,062.52, compared to 1.87 million shares valued at GH�907,244.84 at the previous close on Thursday.
On the broader market, there were six price changes - five up and one down.
Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) rose GH�0.18 at GH�1.65, Ecobank Ghana Limited (EBG) was up GH�0.05 at GH�3.35 and CAL Bank gained GH�0.01 at GH�0.25.
Other gainers for the session were Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) up GH�0.05 at GH�42.70 and State Insurance Company (SIC) was up GH�0.02 at
GH�0.34.
The sole loser was Fan Milk Ghana Limited (FML) down GH�0.01 at GH�7.88.
Market Capitalisation was up at GH�18,259.01 million from GH�18,192.74 million.
