The two days event, which covers the West and Central Africa and organized by Transport Events Management of Malaysia and being hosted by Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA) is addressing topical issues and challenges on global transportation and logistics.
A commercial opportunity for some 50 exhibitors and sponsors in line with the conference is to enable delegates’ network directly with industry players, manufacturers and traders of port facility equipment, financial institutions committing funds to developments among others.
The conference is also providing an opportunity for Ghana and the Meridian Port Services (MPS) to market its newly developed expanded terminal three (T3) at the Tema Port of which the phase one is expected to become operational in 2019.
The Managing Director of Transport Events, Mr Roy J. Doyle, told Graphic Online on the sidelines of the event that globalisation is driving the core of business across the globe, and thus require that businesses create strategic business plans that would create opportunities for all.
Among speakers at the conference is the Minister of Transport, Mr Kweku Ofori-Asiamah.
