These new appointments will enable experienced outstation managers to enhance Emirates’ operations in their respective markets by bringing their expertise during a pivotal period of growth and expansion for the airline.

From 1 October 2024, the following key appointments will come into effect:

• Saood Al Aqili: Formerly District Manager in Dhahran and KSA Eastern Province, has been appointed Country Manager Ghana.
• Cathrine Wesley: Former Country Manager for Ghana and Ivory Coast, will take on the role of Manager Algeria.
• Abdulla Adnan: Formerly Manager Tanzania, will become Manager Morocco.
• Fahad Al Hassawi: Formerly Manager Oman, will become District Manager Dhahran and KSA Eastern Province.
• Khalfan Al Salami: Formerly Manager Morocco, will become Manager Kuwait and Iraq.
• Omar Alhemeiri: Formerly Manager Algeria, will become Manager Tanzania.

Additionally, Khalid Al Zarooni, previously Manager for Kuwait and Iraq, has been promoted to Emirates’ Vice President for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
