Latex Foam High Density Student Mattress has been declared the Legacy Foam Mattress Brand of the Year Award 2025.
An award to that effect was presented to Latex Foam at the Old Schools Alumni Networking Gala Dinner 2026, in Accra last Saturday.
It was in recognition of the mattress for its enduring contribution to the comfort and well-being of students and its long-standing association with the old schools’ experience.
According to the citation for the award, an estimated 90 per cent of old school alumni used the Latex Foam high-density student mattress during their school years, making the brand a common part of the boarding school experience across generations.
It is manufactured by Latex Foam Rubber Products Ltd.
The organisers said Latex Foam was nominated “in recognition of its outstanding contribution to Ghana's manufacturing industry and its enduring legacy as one of the country’s most trusted foam mattress brands”.
“For decades, the company has consistently delivered high-quality foam mattresses and sleep solutions, earning the confidence of generations of citizens through its commitment to product quality, innovation, durability, comfort and customer satisfaction,” they further stated.
The event, which was on the theme: “Connecting legacies, building future opportunities,” was attended by chief executive officers, entrepreneurs, corporate executives, public-sector leaders, professionals and alumni from different generations and schools.
Beyond the traditional school reunion, the event sought to provide a platform for alumni to identify potential business partners, investors, clients, mentors and strategic opportunities, while strengthening relationships across old school networks.
