A healthy gain by Ecobank Ghana Limited in trading on Tuesday pushed up the main market indicator, the GSE All-Share index, by 30.37 points to 5,327.27 points from 5,296.90 points.
This has brought the change for the year to date to -48.93 per cent.
Traded volumes more than doubled at 774,100 from 331,600 while market capitalization also appreciated to GH¢15,210.22 million GH¢15,188.11 million on Monday.
State Insurance Company sold 652,500 shares during the day.
There were two price changes, both positive.
Ecobank Ghana gained GH¢0.10 to close GH¢2.90 while State Insurance Company was GH¢0.01 better at GH¢0.23.
