Ghana's gospel music scene is throbbing with creative collaboration as seasoned artistes team up to craft inspiring new sounds.
The latest collaboration is Ronica Sings and Piesie Esther's single, Enye Wo, which brings together two strong voices in a stirring celebration of faith.
This new song is a shining example of the incredible impact that can be made when gifted artistes unite to worship God through the universal language of music.
Produced by Shadrach Yawson, Enye Wo magnifies the name of Jesus, highlighting His power to heal, restore and save. The song blends worship and praise, reinforcing Ronica Sings' mission to use music as a tool for spiritual transformation.
According to Ronica Sings, the song's lyrics and harmonies are designed to inspire hearts and uplift souls, ushering listeners into a deep place of worship and reflection.
Ronica Sings, real name Veronica Gyimah, has been a vessel for divine melody for over two decades. Her journey began humbly, gathering neighbourhood kids to sing and perform at just 12 years old – a glimpse of the calling that was already upon her life.
By 15, she joined her church choir, where her gift for worship began to flourish. Ronica's professional recording career took off in Toronto with lead guitarist Paa Joe, and her debut album Se Me Kai in 2002 marked a good introduction to the music scene.
She went on to release In His Presence (2012) and Breakout (2014), cementing her reputation as a voice of worship and grace.
Ronica's passion for worship has earned her numerous accolades, including Singer of the Year at Alberta's Obsidian Awards.
Now, she's back with a remix of her beloved worship song, Enye Wo, a song she originally wrote in 2000.
“This fresh take on Enye Wo breathes new life into what I believe is a timeless worship song, introducing it to a new generation while reaffirming my commitment to using music as a vessel for divine worship,” she told Graphic Showbiz.
