Halle Berry is taking time off of her busy work schedule, and stripped back her usual glam during a much needed getaway.

The Never Let Go actress, 58, shared a carousel of images to her Instagram on Saturday, July 19 for her getaway to Joshua Tree in California.

In the images, Berry wore Monday Swimwear's Clovelly one piece, a plunging, vintage-inspired swimsuit with bustier cups and white trim at the chest. She kept her accessories for the look minimal, and wore only a thin gold necklace with delicate jade stones, and an oversize black floppy sunhat to protect her skin from the harsh rays.

The Bruised star also went completely makeup-free in the images. Her glowing complexion was on full display, and despite ditching foundation and concealer, she protected her lips with a subtle pink lip balm close to the shade of her lips.

"Desert days ???? windows down, music up, nowhere to be but here," she captioned the post. She tagged the Invisible House — a fully mirrored house sitting on 90 acres in the Joshua Tree desert — in the photo set, which served as the background for other photos in the carousel in addition to desert rocks and cacti.

In a follow-up post, Berry shared how relaxed she was during the getaway and wrote, "waking up to stillness, sunbeams, and the sound of absolutely nothing ?? peace hits different out here."

Berry's makeup-free moment comes after having two glam outings in recent months. On June 9, she hosted the Joylux & Playground Present "Bare It All" event alongside Christina Aguilera, where she and the singer, in addition to author and menopause advocate Tamsen Fadal, Joylux CEO, Playground CEO and Ulta’s VP held a conversation about sexual wellness.

The actress's menopause care brand, Respin, also took part in the event.

For the occasion, Berry went glam in a long sleeve burgundy McQueen dress in a satin fabric. The maxi gown featured a relaxed turtleneck, a bold red lily print and graceful draping down the length of her body. She paired the look with simple glam, and wore rosy tones on her lips and cheeks, and styled her hair in subtle waves.

The actress's last glam outing prior to the "Bare It All" event came at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival. On May 24, Berry walked the red carpet for the festival's closing ceremony, where she served as a member of the jury.

Berry looked stunning a semi-sheer white lace gown with a subtle flare skirt that did not violate the festival's updated dress code that excluded "voluminous outfits, in particular those with a large train." She completed the bridal-inspired look with a fresh face that consisted of a peach blush and matching lipstick.
