The UHAS International Day is set aside in the university’s calendar to celebrate international students and staff.
The main purpose is to promote the culture of internationalisation of UHAS, with an environment for the foreign students and staff to feel at home and have a sense of belonging in the university.
“This is meant to advance knowledge through scholarship and research and provide patient care and services that would improve health and quality of life.
That would also enhance UHAS’ ranking in the League of Universities in Ghana and outside.
It is also to increase enrolment in international students and research collaborations with international institutions.
