The chairman of Samsung Electronics on Friday won a legal case against his siblings who had demanded a greater share of his inheritance.
A Seoul court ruled that Lee Kun Hee, 71, did not have to hand over more of the legacy from their father and Samsung founder Lee Byung Chull, as his siblings and their families had waited too long to bring their claim to court.
The court also said that some of the assets claimed, totalling around 4.1 trillion won (3.7 billion dollars) were not technically part of the inheritance.
