The office of the Women's Commissioner of the University Students Association of Ghana (USAG) has extended a message of condolence to the families of the two University of Ghana students who lost their lives through a motor accident recently.
The sad event which occurred on the 18th of January, 2013 along the Okponglo road in Accra claimed the lives of Miss Lordina Fobih and Miss Derby Akosua Denkyira Benaye both students of the University.
In a statement issued and copied to the Ghana News Agency in Wa by Miss Sophia Sando, the Women's Commissioner stated that USAG had lost two noble ladies.
While expression condolence to the bereaved families, the statement also appealed to the Road Safety Commission and Ghana Highway Authority to use their expertise in putting measures in place to prevent the occurrence of any further accidents in the country and particularly the Okponglo road.
The statement also advised drivers plying the Okponglo road to be more cautious and patient especially at the dangerous site where they lost their beloved colleagues.
