The Reverend Solomon S. A. Kotei, Founder of the Radiant Light Gospel Mission, on Easter Sunday said the resurrection of Jesus Christ provides a new hope for victorious life in all circumstances for believers.
He said Christ has passed on the mantle of victory to Christians, but the challenge facing Christian churches was how to sustain that victory,
because Satan was still fighting to capture the world.
Preaching on "Victorious Christian Living" at an Easter church service in Accra, Rev. Kotei said the victory came with a price that revealed the
will of God that Jesus should go through the cross, so painful and shameful, but the end result was the emblem of hope and victory.
"If we say victorious Christian living, which has the foundation of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ, we want to give this assurance that all of us here shall rise up to victory," he said.
At the Good Shepherd Methodist Church, Kpormeitey near Kasoa, The Reverend Daniel Kwame Essandoh, said the resurrection meant a new lease of life which calls on Christians to learn to lead a sacrificial life, live at peace with one another and love one another.
Rev. Essandoh said; "Just as Christ loved us and died, he rose again to assure us that the resurrection life is there for all Christians who live the way of Christ".
