Taste of Life, an alternative food factory, would on Thursday, 22 April, honour the late retired Major Courage Quarshigah, on his vision of making available to Ghanaians healthy tasty vegetarian foods, with the launch of its products.
The former Minister of health, while seeking a formula for good health, visited the "Village of Peace" in Dimona, Israel, where he had heard of people, well-known for particularly eliminating all manner of degenerated illness, through the consumption of vegan food.
He returned and initiated a nation wide programme of regenerative health, when he realized that the most important element in their success included, food, exercise, and a health, holistic, and spiritual life style.
A statement issued in Accra by Mr Richard Simon, an executive member of the Dimona Group, Ghana, on Wednesday, and copied to the Ghana News Agency, said the programme would give the Ghanaian public the opportunity to share in the celebration of the late former Minister's wishes and also taste some of the healthy foods.
It further said during the launch, the public would be able to tour the factory and taste a variety of the soy and wheat based food products produced there.
"The soy products are from locally grown soy beans and provide an excellent alternative source of protein and calcium'.
The statement called on the public to join in "this historic moment and move one step closer to the fulfilment of our great brother, Courage
Quarshigah's vision of health for the nation".
Taste of Life has the largest soy production factory in Ghana", it stated.
