A circuit court 'A' in Tema, on Monday sentenced a 25-year old bookman, Abu Adam, to 20 years imprisonment for possessing Indian hemp.
He pleaded not guilty.
Chief Inspector Matilda Tetteh told the court, presided over by Mrs. Laurenda Owusu that on May 24 last year, the Police acting on a tip off arrested Adam while wrapping dried leaves of Indian hemp in the bush.
The Prosecution said 177 wrappers of Indian hemp were found on Adam.
