Daniel Azalekor, a driver from Assin Fosu, was on Monday fined GH240.00 for careless and inconsiderate driving by the Assin Fosu District Magistrate's court.
The convict, who pleaded guilty to the charges, will go in for three months in default.
Chief Inspector Kwarteng Addae told the court presided over by Mr Joseph Blay that on November 13, last year, the convict, who was driving a taxi cab, was stopped by a police patrol team at Fosu.
He said the convict who refused to stop, over sped and run into the rear of another taxi cab.
