An inaugural lecture which was planed to usher in
a Network for Enhanced Defence and Security Reporting, a non-governmental organization, has been postponed to Friday, September 24.
The Lecture which was on the topic, �The role of the Ghanaian Media in Nation Building�, was scheduled for Friday, August 27 at the Ghana
International Press Centre with Dr Asa Asante, Lecturer, Political Science Department, Legon as the Guest lecturer.
Mr Abubakri-Sadiq Braimah, Executive Secretary of the NEDSR said the NGO regrets the postponement and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience to invited guests, adding that it was due to circumstances beyond its control.
The inaugural address will be done by Kabral Blay-Amihere, Chairman National Media Commission with Mr John Tia Akologu Minister of Information,
Brig. General J. Nunoo-Mensah, National Security Advisor and Lt. Col. Gbevlo-Lartey, National Security Co-ordinator as the Special Guests, while
Mr Ransford Tettey, President of Ghana Journalists Association is the Chairman.
