The South Central Ghana Conference of the Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) Church has begun the construction of a 390,000-dollar multi-cultural evangelistic centre at Gyinyase in Kumasi.
The project, which is expected to be completed within one year, is being funded by the Church’s world head-quarters in the United States
of America.
It would comprise of a training centre, English church, counseling centre, youth development centre and administrative offices.
Pastor Dr Kwame Annor Boahen, President of the Conference, speaking at the sod-cutting ceremony, expressed his appreciation to the
headquarters of the church for initiating the project.
He said a Committee has been put in place to ensure the successful completion of the project and called on members of the church to support it.
Pastor Francis Tuffour, Director of Communications of the Conference, said the centre will offer opportunity to the youth of the
church to receive training and counseling and share fruitful experiences on their growth and development with their colleagues.
