Mr Anthony Kokutse, a nurse based in the United States of America, has donated various clothing worth 25,000 dollars to the Missionaries of Charity orphanage at Ashaiman.
Mr Kokutse said donation was made possible due to the contribution of Madam Karen Hall, a philanthropist, who is in-charge of the Central Texas Orphanage Mission in the US. The donated items include footballs, First Aid and Wound kits, assorted children clothing, toys, blankets, towels and shoes.
Sister Pascalette, the Supervisor of the Ministries of Charity Home, expressed her gratitude to the Mr Kokutse and Madam Karen Hall for their kind gesture and said the items would be distributed to the inmates of the Home. She said the orphanage was established 23 years ago and currently has adult and children wards.
