Skin bleaching is now common in most of the African countries and it very sad that they do not know the side effects attached to it.

In Ghana, children and adults are involved in skin bleaching forgetting that the black colour can never be bought.

Skin bleaching has a lot of effects like dark grey spots, redness and intense irritation, skin cancer and even makes the skin smell.

Adapting the western behaviour makes the whites laugh at us so let us all embrace African culture because black is beautiful.

I'm pleading with the government to help stop the importation of bleaching agents so Ghanaians can value their skin colour.
