Mrs Fati Bodua Seidu, the National President of Saint Francis of Assisi Old Girls’ Association (FOGA), has advised members to work together as a formidable body to overcome their challenges towards strengthening the Association.
The Association, which has both national and six regional branches in Accra, Wa, Sunyani, Tamale, Kumasi and Techiman, is confronted with financial challenges among other things that impede its expansion.
Mrs Seidu said this at the 2018 National Delegates Conference and Annual General Meeting of the Association in Wa. "Making mention of our challenges is not to discourage us but to let us be aware of them and devise strategies to overcome them and be successful," she said.
Mrs Seidu entreated FOGA members to be committed to the Association, pay their dues, attend meetings regularly and bring new members on board to help provide the needed assistance to their Alma mater.
“Our school needs our support to carry out projects. No top school in Ghana and elsewhere has gotten to where they are without the financial support of their Alumni,” she said.
Mrs Seidu appealed to all old girls to join FOGA to help support the School.
