Reading is fun is an annual vacation project designed to improve the literacy of scholarship recipients and other children who visit the learning hub regularly and are unable to read and decode letters.
Last year, we improved the reading skills of participant's by a whopping 13.5% within 36 hours over a 12 days span.
This project will engage 30 children every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in the month of August starting from 8am to 12pm at the learning hub
The participants will be served nutritious meals (breakfast and snacks each day).
Please join us to improve literacy in Jamestown schools. With the right methodologies employed and support provided, these children have the ability to improve their reading and thrive in school despite the inequalities that surround them.
