During the Covid-19 pandemic, Turkey has given its support in the global fight with the hand of friendship, it extended to more than 70 countries while Turkish exporters take a step ahead this ‘humanitarian’ and ‘goodness’ movement under their slogan ‘Made in Türkiye’.
Operating as a part of the Turkish Exporters’ Assembly (TIM) in line with its vision of helping global branding of exporting industries, Turkiye Promotion Group (TPG) undertakes to revive the spirit of solidarity and explain Turkey’s success in production, supply and export by sending exclusively designed hygiene kits to important importers, representatives of trade associations and members of the press.
DHL Express Turkey will provide the project with logistics support and help take 6,500 kits to more than 60 countries. DHL Express will also take Turkey’s message of goodwill by affixing the tag #GoodnessFromTurkiye on each outbound shipment for the next two months. Accompanied by a letter containing friendship messages by TIM President ?smail Gülle, the hygiene kits include a bottle of cologne, which is a part of Turkey’s unique tradition of hospitality and cleanliness, as well as a mask, gel hand sanitizer, sanitizing hand wipes, antibacterial wet wipes and a bar of soap.
Speaking at the ceremony organized on the occasion of the start of shipment of the kits, TIM and TPG President ?smail Gülle said: “In this challenging period the world is going through, we have passed the test both as a country and as exporters. As our Health Ministry data also demonstrates, effective management of the fight against the virus under the strong leadership of our President helped us take the steps to normalization in the Turkish economy. In this process, the products we have donated by extending a helping hand to more than 70 countries, which demonstrates to the entire world Turkey’s production and supply facilities and capabilities, also symbolize Turkey’s ability to engage in international solidarity. In this important period, our exporters have launched the ‘Mobilization for National Production’, providing medical supplies for the health of both our country and our world. As exporters, we take this ‘Humanitarian’ and ‘Goodness’ movement a step ahead with our hygiene products ‘Made in Türkiye’ and aim to strengthen the positive perception of Turkish products and our position as the ‘Reliable Supplier Turkey’.
