The Ministry of Health has announced a recruitment drive for qualified Ghanaian nurses to take up employment opportunities in Saint Kitts and Nevis.
The initiative, being undertaken in partnership with the Caribbean country’s government, is aimed at recruiting Registered General Nurses for medical and private wards, as well as Community Health Nurses for placement abroad.
According to the Ministry, applicants must satisfy the regulatory requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana, possess a minimum of five years’ professional experience, and demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Prospective candidates are required to submit copies of their academic and professional certificates, a certificate of good standing from the Nursing and Midwifery Council, a criminal record certificate from the Ghana Police Service, reference letters, a birth certificate, immunisation records, and other relevant documents.
The Ministry indicated that applications will open on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 10:00 am via its official recruitment portal.
Applicants will also be required to present original documents for verification on the day of their scheduled interviews.
