The groundbreaking Channel O show O-Access is set to return to DStv screens later this year. Already production for the third series is in full swing with host Nonhle Thema currently in the United States, working on content for O-ACCESS 3.
For the team involved the challenge this time around is upping the ante on the fantastic content that drove seasons 1 and 2 of the show. Says
Nonhle, "We set the benchmark high for the first two seasons of the show and our brief is to go bigger, better and further in bringing DStv
viewers a show that gets under the skin of the entertainment world's biggest stars in a uniquely African way."
The previous two seasons of O-ACCESS have seen Nonhle hang out with the likes of 50 Cent, Craig David, Rihanna, John Legend, Beenie Man and
many, many more celebrities and stars. Nonhle's ability to standout amongst the dozens of media outlets wrestling for time with these heavyhitters is what sets apart the show and adds to O-Access' unique appeal.
"We are not going to give away just who we will be interviewing and hanging out with this time around," Nonhle says, "but our wish list includes the likes of Alicia Keys, Beyonce, and Jamie Foxx - and that's just for starters!"
During the current shoot, Nonhle will be keeping devoted O-ACCESS viewers up-to-date with her encounters in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and
other cities around the world through the O-Boma Social Networking platform, accessed via www.channelo.co.za.
In addition, the team will be filming inserts for a new show coming up on Channel O while in the US - MOST WANTED will feature the biggest and
best new videos currently being released on the global music stage and is likely to start flighting in May.
A behind-the-scenes O-ACCESS 3 is also being shot adding more impact to Nonhle and the team's trip to the US.
Says Channel O general Manager, Yolisa Phahle, "With both Most Wanted and the new season of O-Access we are aiming at giving viewers
exceptional content that is exclusive to Channel O."
The third season of O-ACCESS will be air in November 2008 exclusively on Channel O, channel 320, on DStv.
