A Sekondi District Magistrate's Court on Monday remanded Ama Etiwabaa, a 23-year-old unemployed, for causing harm to her rival.
She pleaded guilty and will re-appear on April 2.
Assistant Superintendent of Police Richard Boatey said on March 3 Philomine Appiah visited her boyfriend, Kwesi Ata, at Sekondi and met the accused person in his room.
He said this resulted in exchange of words between them and while Ata was pleading with the Philomena not to talk, the accused hit the complainant's head with a bottle of Guinness.
Philomena sustained multiple cuts on her face and she made a report to the police and Ama was arrested.
