The Aflao Police have mounted a search for Davitor Sika 42, an Aflao-based petty trader, over the death of Akos Kportsu 18, her employee.
Sika allegedly administered herbal concoction to Miss Kportsu in an attempt to terminate her pregnancy which allegedly resulted in her death.
A source close to the police told GNA that Sika, a mother of three lived at Avoeme-Aflao where Miss Kportsu also lived with her parents.
It said on March 26, this year, the suspect administered herbal concoction to the deceased to terminate her three months old pregnancy.
The source said Miss Kportsu died three days later at the Ketu-South District Hospital at Aflao after Sika had rushed her there when she developed complications.
"Sika has since then been on the run," the source said.
Mr Kofi Kportsu, elder brother of the deceased said the family found her on admission at the hospital when they went looking for her when she had not returned home.
