Two Nigerians on Wednesday appeared before a Circuit Court in Accra for the various roles they played in the defilement of a 14-year old pupil.
Kelvin Nwaso Nebon an 18-year old student allegedly defiled the victim and Franklin Nkobong Eyo Ekon 31, kept watch while the act was going on.
Nebon is being held for defilement while his accomplice Ekon is being held for abetment of crime.
They have pleaded not guilty.
The court however, admitted Ekon to bail in the sum of GH¢ 2,000 and remanded Nebon into police custody to reappear on May 27.
Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Lawrence Gbele said the victim lived with her guardians at Haatso in Accra while the accused persons also lived in the same neighbourhood.
Prosecution said in the early hours of May 7, this year, the victim met the two accused persons whilst on her way to school. The accused asked the victim to meet them at park known as Manbay in the night else she would die.
The following day, prosecution said the victim at about 12:30 am sneaked out and met the accused person at a spot known at Daresallam junction and they escorted her to the park.
On reaching the park, Nebon pushed her and she fell and felt unconscious.
Later when she regained consciousness, she found that she had been stripped naked from her waist and Nebon was dressing up after the act while Ekon stood by a tree watching.
Prosecution said victim was bleeding and she found that she had been abused sexually. She therefore dressed up and run home and narrated her ordeal to her guardians.
Prosecution said Police investigations indicated that Nebon had threatened the victim with death and lured the victim to the same spot where he defiled her on a number of occasions.
A report was made to the Police and accused persons were arrested while a medical form was issued to the victim for examination.
