The Council for Afrika International, a London based think tank has called on government to adopt a comprehensive change agenda on the economy that would reflect the dreams of Dr Kwame Nkrumah.
This was contained in a statement signed by Mr Koku Adomdza, Spokesperson for the Council, copied to the Ghana News Agency.
It noted that Osagyefo was not only a "talking shop" but ensured that he delivered on his promises.
He was an ardent and vociferous opponent of Afro phobia and an advocate of Afrika's political, economic, social, cultural and intellectual advancement, it added.
It said Nkrumah stood for total economic development and holistic emancipation of the continent.
The centenary anniversary would therefore be meaningless "unless it is linked to a totally renewed dedication to a change program for socio-economic justice".
