Firefighters found the bodies of the two girls, 15 and nine years old respectively, in separate bedrooms on the second floor of the house in Donnacona, west of the provincial capital of Quebec City.
Local authorities said two adults and five children living in the house were at home when the fire broke out around noon Thursday.
