ABN Productions hosted another successful event at the Pecanwood Golf and
Country Club. The 'CNBC Africa Ambassador's Cup 2012' was held for the
second year and saw many prominent diplomats as well as esteemed
business-men and women at the event.
"The Cup was created to establish the champions of the diplomatic fairways
and greens and provide a unique networking platform between embassies and
corporates", said Managing Director of the ABN Group, Roberta Naidoo. "We
are proud to say that in its second year, the number of ambassador's that
have participated have increased, representing countries such as Nigeria,
Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia and Senegal", she said.
Among the attendees were some of the recipients from the ABN Education
Trust for Financial Journalist's and proceeds raised from the gala dinner
auction will go towards the trust.
"ABN Productions is the eventing hand of Africa Business News and have
been operating since February this year", said Head of ABN Productions,
Zubaidah Haniff. "The CNBC Africa Ambassadors Golf Cup is one of our
annual flag-ship events as we are dealing with many respected African
diplomats and officials, as well as a number of captains of industries who
attend this prestigious event. It was a privilege to host an event of such
magnitude, which will benefit not only our organisation but the students
of the ABN Education Trust".
