Some aggrieved members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the China-Paga Constituency in the Upper East Region, have appealed to the National Executive of the party to solve some pertinent problems undermining their front.
A statement issued by a former Constituency Executive member, Mr. Kenneth Amontum and Bishop Akubuligo-Zotipeliba , Sirigu Area NDC Organiser indicated that last October's constituency election was not well organised thereby affecting the operations of the party.
The constituency comprises China Zone, Paga Zone and Sirigu Kandiga Mirigu Zone.
The statement said the election did not reflect fair distribution of executive positions among the three zones, thus creating disunity in the constituency.
It therefore called on the National Executive of the party to as a matter of urgency intervene to rectify the problem as soon as possible to pave way for effective campaign towards the 2012 elections.
The statement said if the issue was not addressed now, the party would loose the 2012 general election.
